-The
AeroCD disc is complete with everything you
need to run and use its content. Just install
Quicktime from the disc to be able to open the
.pdf files that contain lessons. Quicktime is
provided for you to see the movie files, in
case you don't have it already installed on
your computer. Back to top-
-The Quicktime version on the
disc is well suited for running the AeroCD,
however, there are newer versions available
online. Some versions work best with specific
Operating Systems. It's best to install Quicktime
from the disc, and later go online and look
for the latest version available for your computer.

-Media viewing programs make
themselves the 'default' program for viewing
movies and music on your computer. I apologize
for this. It's Apple and Microsoft, not us-)To
reset your computer's default settings to a
media player other than Quicktime in Windows,
click 'Start', then click 'set defaults'. Locate
default file settings and follow the simple,
easy to use instructions Microsoft has provided.
-It is possible to carefully
orchestrate default settings during installation
of Quicktime. The process is fairly advanced.
To do that, choose 'mime settings' when the
window is displayed, and choose only the files
you want associated with Quicktime as a media
player. See the method above for the easier
way- allowing easy installation, and then resetting
defaults afterward. Back to top-
-The AeroCD is designed to operate
on Windows98 and newer. Older Windows Operating
Systems require an earlier versions of Quicktime
to use the AeroCD. The appropriate versions
is provided on the disc. If you have an older
OS, it's a good idea to keep the version from
the disc installed. If the right version is
already installed, the installer will let you
know, and you can bypass the installation. We
have gone to great lengths to make older systems
capable of accessing this great program and
information. Back to top-
-Yes, AeroCD works on Mac Operating
Systems to OSX. Back to top-
