MakerMade's
on the move- with several super-interesting projects
underway! Diversity will be our strength, especially
in light of the unimaginable changes our world has
seen just in the past few months.
Toys:
Our new association with NASA Ames Research Center
is extremely exciting- and will open new doors as
we expand our markets into mass distribution channels,
while maintaining a respected position as providers
of interesting, stimulating education materials and
active play products! We have the honor and privelege
of being the commercialization company to market NASAs
educational CDs along with our great flying toys!
It's a team that will be a hit!
The first
CD is called 'The AeroCD'-
that lets kids TEACH THEMSELVES about airplanes!
It's packed with facts- presented in an energetic
way that will have kids sitting in front of the computer
learning- and then they'll get up and go fly PocketPlanes!
Our second
CD is 'The AeroLP',
887 Pages of Lesson Plans made by NASA for
Teachers. we've selected the most interesting of these
Plans and Activities and made them user-friendly for
people to TEACH OTHERS about airplanes! .We're
all looking forward to a long and prosperous relationship!
Tools:
The Drill Lever patent has issued, and has been
published by the
US Patent and Trademark Office! (Click here to
see it...) We're preparing to go to market
with tools made here in the USA! Click
here to see the Drill Lever-
Transportation:
The future looks bright as we tackle areas that
are ready for change- including safety design and
ergonomic products for the Transportation industry.
We'll be seeing a demand for more fuel efficient vehicles
as well- that will decrease our dependency on foreign
oil suppliers- not to mention an expanding world market
for our simple, functional and elegant designs. $2.
a gallon for gas? Coming soon to a gas station near
YOU!
We are
a team of professionals- from engineers to the
people running the machines- making use of an excellent
and willing workforce. Please have a look at the team
of people ready to contribute to the Makermade team-
all brilliant people, with skills that add to the
'big picture'. Eleven people have contributed so far
to making of the AeroCD! As we add people to the list,
they'll be posted with links to their email addresses
and respective tasks.
Another
point to mention is the excellent work ethic and
supply base for outside OEM suppliers- Western New
York and North Eastern Pennsylvania has a great number
of businesses who will offer services and become integral
to our projects. We're looking forward to working
with all of them, and potentials for the future!
Our
sources in China will provide the high volume,
labor-intensive products- freeing us to work on the
highly mechanized products here at home. We'll keep
certain processes in-house, keeping a workforce busy
here at home!
Please
come back and visit again- and, as we open
our doors at the new facility,
we'll have an open door policy for tours- so, keep
in touch!
Sincerely,
Bill
